The well-known branch of The Art Institute of Atlanta ‘, Art Institute of Washington is located in Virginia, United States. Established in July 2000; it is one of the leading Art institutes and universities in North America, offering world-class education in creative and applied arts such as media, design, culinary arts, interior design, advertising and fashion.

Degrees and Programs

The institute has a varied curriculum including the Bachelor of Fine Arts program (B.F.A.), the Bachelor of Arts Program (B.A.), the Bachelor of Science Program (B.S.), the Association in the Arts program (A.A.) and the diploma program. A number of morning, evening, and weekend classes and courses are also available for interested students.

In addition to a dining laboratory and three teaching kitchens for culinary arts students, the institute offers a lighting laboratory, a rich resource library, a technical sound audio studio, and an art gallery with exhibits created by faculty and students.

The Student Affairs Department coordinates between institutions and students, regarding the design and execution of programs including student affairs as well. Student clubs and social event organizations and skills development workshops are other highlight features of campus life.

The Smithsonian Institution which houses several museums; Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials and The John F.Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts are some of the museums and monuments on the nearby university campus of Washington.
